I work in a field doing Divorce Name Change. I have been doing this job for more than twenty years. I got into the whole field when I was divorced and wanted to change my name. I get a whole lot of angry newly divorced people coming into my office demanding a name change. Unfortunately I can not change their name right away. My job is to step them through the process and get all their paper work done. Some are upset that they can not get it done the same day, others are quite happy they do not have to think about it any more.
