It’s difficult to know where to start when describing the amazing experience of the Hotel Arenal Kioro. In many senses, this hotel in La Fortuna was quite surreal, being in such close proximity with the majestic slopes of the Arenal Volcano. The views from our hotel window offered panoramic views of the Arenal Volcano National Park and the verdantly manicured landscaped gardens attached to this hotel. The whole effect was absolutely breathtaking. The Hotel Arenal Kioro is not the only hotel in this area with views of the Arenal Volcano, but it is certainly one of the closest – so close, in fact, that the whole majesty of its proximity can be quite overwhelming some mornings when you look out the window. This vacation has been an awe-inspiring experience that we will never forget.
