For anyone who wants to be in the centre of all the action for St Patrick’s Day, a trip to Dublin is a must. Ireland’s largest city will have a huge amount going on. It is playing host to the country’s official celebrations between 12th and 17th March, with attractions including one of Ireland’s biggest literary festivals, a treasure hunt (which involves solving clues dotted around various cultural venues in the city) and even a Cuban Salsa festival - Dublin’s first! Bringing the whole lot to a close will be the spectacular world-famous St Patrick’s Day parade. Definitely worth a visit.
