My close friend moved to Taupo about two years ago and we’ve seen each other only once since. It has been hard because I do miss her so much and when she lived back in Sydney, we were only a twenty minute drive away from each other so would spend lots of time together. She is due to have her first baby in two months and I know that she most likely won’t make it back over to Sydney for a holiday for another couple of years. I have decided to come and stay for a week after she said she would love to see me, problem is that the spare room has been converted into the baby’s room so I made a booking in the closest motel to her home which I found doing a search under taupo motels. I can’t wait to visit my friend and the beautiful Lake taupo.
