Several months ago I lost my job, and my friends and former coworkers pulled together and donated money and services to our household. It made such a wonderful difference for us, and when I started a new job earlier this week, I wanted to thank everyone for all of their help and support. I went online and saw the prettiest thank you cards, and they were on sale! I bought two packages of them, and I wrote out notes to everyone. It meant so much to me that they were there for me in my time of need, and thanking them was the right thing to do.
