People with a high aptitude for science should consider pursuing a career in patents. Scientists are developing new things every minute of every day and most of the time they will want to patent these inventions and discoveries. The problem is that in order to figure out what can receive patent protection, someone other than the inventor has to understand what is going on. People must take and pass the patent agent exam to become a patent agent. It tries to set some standards for what people involved in the patent process should know overall.
