I have been looking at going back to school to get a masters degree. The places that offer online degrees look pretty attractive. I’d really like to be able to finish a program without taking time off work. Well, I don’t mind taking some time off work to study for a big test, but I don’t want to have to just quit my job.

However, one of the things I hadn’t thought about is the social aspect of getting a degree. With an online degree you don’t really get to make any friends. I think that’s one of the things I enjoy most about school — getting to know and meet new people. I’m going to take a class to see how I do. I may find that I’m just not cut out for taking courses online.
