My son showed me some video game design software that he wanted.  I know absolutely nothing about video games or video games design.  I decided that I needed to go do some research and find out more about this software.  The program that he picked out said it included everything he would need to design games.  I figured that if he wanted to design video games, he needed to start somewhere.  I told him to go ahead and get the free trial.  If he likes the program and it works well for him, I am going to let him buy the full program.
