I can not remember when was the last time i bought a new Rifle Scope for one of my pieces of shooting iron.  It’s a tough process selecting the right riflescope for whatever puropses you need one.  Whether you are target shooting or hunting all plays into which scope you need.   Even different types of hunting will call for different types of scopes.  The there are tactical applications for you shooting rig.  Do you need long range, mid range or close quarters?  Some are good for many applications but typically something that does everything does not do anything very well.  Think about it.  What rifle scope is good for you?
