When I am at the airport I always try to find the currency exchange counter. It is so much easier to have the right type of money before walking out of the airport. I made the mistake one time of assuming I would be able to make an exchange at my hotel, and I was wrong. My only option then, was to walk around looking for a place where I could get a few Euros for my dollars. What a disaster that was. Now I have learned my lesson, always have the right kind of money before you eave the airport!
