As a production assistant for our local channel’s lifestyle show it’s part of my job to look for different home improvement tips. One of the biggest hits among our viewers has to do with creating outdoor living spaces like patios. I recently did some research to create a series that will guide viewers to build their own patios, step by step. The first episode started with selecting the location and prepping the area. Then we moved on to putting in flooring and adding a roof. The third one was about putting in smaller details. We’re on to our fourth episode that includes furnishing the area and adding a patio door curtain. Hopefully they’ve all been successful with creating a small space that they can retreat to and call their own.
