Once a person experience cataract the first thing he or she will experience is the sudden blurring of his eye sight. This is cause of some cloudy thing in your lens.

At present, there are two methods use in cataract surgery. The first one is the Extracapsular Extraction, this is an old technique in which there is a 12mm incision that is being performed in the eye to extract the lens as a whole.

The second method is called Phacoemulsification or also called phaco, it is the most preferred technique used today, it uses smaller amount of incision which is 3mm only. It removes the opaque lens and replace it with a transparent artificial lens.
