Need a Tomato Sorter?
March 10, 2010 2:45 pm Computers and TechnologyMany consumers around the country who shop for fresh produce can relate to the frustration of not being able to find a good tomato in the entire stack of the little red fruits available for purchase at the local supermarket. Sometimes, it seems as if the entire crop has gone bad before it can be purchased and consumed. Perhaps this problem would be solved by using a high quality tomato sorter machine. These machines use special photoelectric cameras that inspect the color for quality. The bad fruits are separated from the crop, and the good ones pass through to be weighed, visually inspected by a person, and then packaged and shipped.
