I was getting bored of my life.  I wanted to go to the place of no return hoping it will put an end to the bitterness engulfing my being.   However, when my best friend invited me to go cruising, all the pains and heartaches seemed to vanish into the wind.  While on board the ship, I met someone who was the epitome of sweetness and kindness.  During the entire journey, she made me feel special- I felt like a king then!   More so, the trip gave me a new perspective in life.  It made me a new man.  I was overjoyed that I took a Cruise from New York to Bermuda.  What I am now, I owe this to my best friend and the trip!

My parents offered my wife and I a pleasure trip to any place of our choice.  Not only did they pledge to cover both our fares in going to and fro, we were further assured of an amount which we deemed to be more than sufficient to defray all incidental expenses relative therewith.   At first, we were reluctant to grab the offer considering the high costs of the supposed trip but after much prodding from them, we ultimately gave in.  The growing, by leaps and bounds, of the recent popularity for cruising somehow awakened our curiosity thereby making us decide of giving it a try!  Hence, we took a cruise on the Celebrity Infinity from San Diego. After we got on board the ship, we made a tour around to familiarize and to know what it had in store for us.  We were overwhelmed with great excitement then since we were bereft of cruising experiences.   In our brief inspection, we found the interiors remarkably beautiful- the magnificence of the designs were truly spell-bounding!  There was a line of restaurants that catered the different food preferences of the guests.  The recreational facilities and superb amenities were always available to use.  Attendants were also strategically in placed to ensure prompt service.  When our stroll began to take its toll, we went to our cabin to rest.  As we lay on our bed, we saw through our window the stars looking down upon us- witnessing the unfolding of our intimate moments. Oh, what a perfect way to celebrate our first honeymoon!  The entire trip was infinitely fabulous!

The substantial decrease in the number of student enrollees had compelled the school to terminate the services of the non-permanent teachers.  Since my wife was still on a contract basis, she was one of those who got laid off.  She really felt bad being laid off, because she loved her work very much.  But, there was nothing she could do about it since the school could no longer afford to compensate her.  Fortunately though, her work was not our bread and butter.  Knowing my wife was emotionally distressed, I took her on the Whittier Alaska Thanksgiving Cruise.  While on board the ship, I did my best helping her cope up her frustration.  It was successful for she was able to forget the worries of our home life.  She was very grateful I took her on this trip for it was exactly what she needed.  We had a wonderful voyage!

We have five days to enjoy this glorious place. It would be my dream to finally just move here for good. The kauai weather is just always perfect. I can not even think of a better place to live. My husband and I are going to come up with a plan to move here in the next five years. On this vacation we are going to start looking for places to live. I just hope that we can find a neighborhood that we really like and that we can afford to live in. I am sure we will be able to do that.
