In order to grow small business the important thing is to increase the scope of your horizon. Initiate products or services which maximum number of people may use. Also do not try to be the jack of all trades. Depend on others. Employ efficient staff who can efficiently take up the business work load and deliver results. Opening shops in other locations is bound to make your small business grow and reach out to a larger audience. Government contract is a good way to expand.  However take care not to bite more than you can chew.  Bid only when you are sure of your capabilities.
