As a teacher, it’s always a huge frustration when your classroom is not adequately furnished.  I teach high school biology, which is usually a favorite subjects for the students.  I have been in the same classroom for 15 years, and it had never been updated.  I finally decided to make an issue out of this and start pressing the school board for a renovation.  To my surprise and satisfaction they listened and got all new laboratory furniture.  The students and I are thrilled and love working on our new lab tables.  It’s amazing what upgrading can do provide a more exciting learning environment.
